Ambitious Athletes

Ambitious Athletes (“Ambitious Athletes”, “We”) is the creator and owner of all offered online programs ("Programs") and the owner of the website www.ambitiousathletes.com (the “Website”). Ambitious Athletes has developed policies and procedures (the “Privacy Policy”) to protect its Website and Program users’ personal information and to ensure that Ambitious Athletes complies with current applicable privacy legislation.

Ambitious Athletes reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. As a result, Ambitious Athletes requests that you, as a Website or Program user (“you”), read this section from time to time in order to be informed of possible changes in the Ambitious Athletes Privacy Policy. If the Privacy Policy changes, and personal information is collected for a purpose that is different from that stated at the time that it was originally collected, the Privacy Policy will be modified and updated as necessary. Ambitious Athletes will post all updates to the Privacy Policy on the Website.

TYPE OF INFORMATION COLLECTED
 When you register for the Programs, Ambitious Athletes will collect your name, email address, and your country.  In order to register for the Programs you will also be required to create a password (which will only be known by you).

When you register for the Programs, Ambitious Athletes will collect your (or the entity or person paying on your behalf) credit information in order to process payment for the Program fees. Ambitious Athletes uses Stripe to process payments on its behalf.

USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
 Ambitious Athletes may use the personal information we collect from you for the following reasons: to communicate with you, to deliver information to you regarding the Programs and your progress through the Program, or as part of our quality assessment process.

USE OF COOKIES

Ambitious Athletes uses cookies, which are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser (if you allow). These cookies enable the site to recognize your browser and, if you have a registered account, associate it with your registered account. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies to identify that you’ve logged in to the Programs and to tell us how and when you interact with the Website. Ambitious Athletes uses cookies to understand and save your preferences for future visits and compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future.  Unlike persistent cookies, session cookies are deleted when you log off from the Programs or Website and close your browser. Although most browsers automatically accept cookies, you can change your browser options to stop automatically accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting cookies. Please note, however, that if you don’t accept cookies, you may not be able to access all portions or features of the Website or the Programs.

Third parties, including Instagram, may use cookies and other storage technologies to collect or receive personal information from the Website and elsewhere on the internet and use that information to provide measurement services and targeted ads.

ACCESS, CORRECTION AND ACCURACY 

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you in order to verify the personal information we have collected in respect to you.  Upon receipt of your written request, Ambitious Athletes will provide you with a copy of your personal information, although in certain limited circumstances, and as permitted under law, we may not be able to make all relevant information available to you, such as where that information also pertains to another user. In such circumstances we will provide reasons for the denial to you upon request. We will endeavor to deal with all requests for access and modifications in a timely manner.

Ambitious Athletes will make every reasonable effort to keep your personal information accurate and up to date, and we will provide you with mechanisms to update, correct, delete or add to your personal information as appropriate.  Having accurate personal information about you enables us to give you the best possible service.

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Under no circumstances will your personal information, which Ambitious Athletes collects, be communicated or disseminated to third parties, except as provided herein.

In the normal course of business, Ambitious Athletes may disclose some personal information to third party service providers and suppliers as needed, and also to Google Analytics, which is used to generate detailed statistics about the Website’s traffic and traffic sources. Google may collect your IP address in order to analyze web traffic.

As such, you agree and acknowledge that the personal information which you submit on the Website or through the Programs and which is collected by Ambitious Athletes may be transferred outside of Canada and, if you are resident in Europe, the personal data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area.

Ambitious Athletes must also disclose personal information when required by law to do so. For example, if Ambitious Athletes is presented with a search warrant or other legal order or if personal information is requested from an investigative body in relation to a breach of the law, personal information may be disclosed.

THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The Website and the Programs contain links to other web sites or to resources operated by third parties. These links will take you away from the Website and the Programs. Please note that Ambitious Athletes does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information presented on these sites. The third party’s privacy and security policies may differ from those practiced by Ambitious Athletes.

We encourage you to know when you leave Website and the Programs and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by Brandnew on its Website and Programs.

SECURITY AND STORAGE

The security of your personal information is important to us. Ambitious Athletes uses commercially reasonable efforts to store and maintain your personal information in a secure environment. We take technical, contractual, administrative, and physical security steps designed to protect personal information that you provide to us. We have implemented procedures designed to limit the dissemination of your personal information to only such designated staff as are reasonably necessary to carry out the stated purposes we have communicated to you.

You are also responsible for helping to protect the security of your personal information.  For instance, never give out your email account information or password for the Programs.

You acknowledge and agree that your personal information may be accessible to law enforcement and governmental agencies in those countries under lawful access regimes or court order.

RETENTION OF INFORMATION 

Ambitious Athletes will keep your personal information for as long as it remains necessary for the identified purpose or as required by law, which may extend beyond the termination of our relationship with you.

Ambitious Athletes may also retain certain data as necessary to prevent fraud or future abuse, or for legitimate business purposes, such as analysis of aggregated, non-personally-identifiable data, account recovery, or if required by law. All retained personal information will remain subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
